The Bible says in Matthew 7:13-16, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep´s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits." At Westgate our goal is to serve as a guide for people on their way to God. The Bible says that few find the way to everlasting life, good news, we have the map, the Bible.

The mission of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church is to bring the knowledge and joy of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone. We desire to evangelize the lost, educate everyman in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord, and to edify every man to be presented fully matured to the Lord. (Col. 1:28) Our goal is not to entertain man but to preach the gospel in a way that would compel lost humanity to turn from their sin and accept Jesus as their Savior.
